I woke up this morning only to find myself perplexed and daze,to find there's nothing to feel anxious about.Nothing ahead of me.Nothing planned for the rest of my mediocre day.Nothing to get done with.Nothing to sigh for.Just ,well, nothing. 20th of November marked the end of my A2 examination,so i've officially ended my college life.It ended abruptly,i must say.Its been a long run for this term, really draining me out.A month long examination wasn't fun, obviously.College life seems to be hectic, speeding throughout the course like an excited ground state electron, vigorous, anxiously waiting to be emancipated from the attraction of the nuclues (translation: to be liberated from the confinement of my studies & the syllabus).
Its a year and a half of pre-u studies, seems adequately short but think again.Really, you ought to do alot of rethinking about it.A-levels is a crash course?Nah.Its eating up my time, and im still disillusioned about what i wanna do next while other friends of mine are already taking degree programme overseas.Reaching college at 8am daily just to find yourself equating life to routine is not really much of a fun idea.Even coming back home from college is a wee bit of a challenge for me,which pretty much explain why i dont bother to dress oh-so-pretty to classes.Anyway,i enjoyed this embarkment, and for sure i will cherish and treasure the memories i had.The creaking door of my tutorial class, the treetops around the compound that swayed in the breeze, the cool chemistry lab, lecturers and the friends i've met ,shaken my nerve quite a bit now to think about it,embracing the oddity, the nostalgic quaintness.Wow, i actually feel like im gonna miss my college, ahaks.Seems like im having a mild post-college trauma.
And here i am,engulfed by boredom. The long awaited boredom. That kind of boredom that need you not to think about life that much. The freedom to my 'boredom' was eventually cut short, only fleeting momentarily when mum brought up about Denise in the dinner table.A silent shade of gray appeared on her face, seems like what the dinner lamp only illuminates her moving lips. That trigger me instantly.I can feel my synapses are no longer working right.I asked her to stop.I remembered something.A few weeks before my last paper,Denise told me she got a really tragic news, and she would only let me know after i finish my exam, and that was it.I told her everything is going to be alright, the only words that can transcend her worries at that moment.I snapped out of the conversation with mum,by which it ended by a little dash of her sarcasm, "Oh you still dont know, huh? Weird...Thought you are her..." I sensed mockery.By which will turn awry if i still bother her stupid senseless teasing.I just protested that she will only let me know later so as to not affect me in my exams.
As for now,the prudent question is not for me.Its for her.Denise,ok...so what now?
