It’s suppOsed to be a holiday, where people take a break from working like a cow during the rest of the year. Even when I went out yesterday for the gathering with my primary school pals, I can't enjoy myself fully without glancing at the clock every hour or another. Ok Edmund, I didn't plan to go out before u start interrogating bout my revision progress. A phone call came and old friends took turns to express how much they miss u, how can you possibly reject that??
Okay I may have exaggerated little, lol, but that’s about what had happened yesterday afternoon.
Instead of dropping by at one of my friend’s place to catch up (as what they’ve told me in the phone), we ended up going to the places of a few old friend’s for visiting. Doing short visits to people’s houses during cny was never really my thing, ‘cause I find it kinda awkward sometimes. It was as if our aim from our first step into the house would be to collect the angpows, especially when we’re taking off again to next house in less than 15 minutes. -.-"
Anyway, yesterday was different since those are the people I have not really talked to for ages. This is the time where you catch up with what you've missed. Everyone seems to have gone through a part of their lives without each other and yet we’re sitting there together again after many years. It feels like we have all parted on our own journey and on this day our paths crossed each other again, though it may just be for a short moment.
It is kinda nice to see people from your past once in a while. You get to see how much they have changed, yet deep down there are still something recognizable bout them. Things that we have once shared, traceable in our memories...
Highlight of the day was the part when Jessica took out all the old photos that we’ve taken on the last few days of our primary school life. Those pictures were really… *speechless*. We were practically laughing hysterically, while trying frantically to stop some people from snapping those ugly shots with their handphones. God knows what will happen if they find their way up to facebook and got our names tagged. All our images built over the years…*poof* gone within seconds.
After that, we went up to the lookout point at Ulu Langat for dinner. Nice view, but we were freezing most of the time, mainly because it had been drizzling since afternoon.
All in all, it was a nice gathering. Thanks for dragging me out guys, haha. One regret, we forgot to take pictures!! How can we possibly forget, when the next time we meet could well be 5 or 10 years later…

This was the only pic taken on the day (without me!). Too bad my fren left her camera at home before they came to pick me up. See u guys next time when someone gets married, lol.
