Winter Break

I've been waiting for this for such a long time...

Ive just finished my last paper yesterday.Excited? Yes,its a been a crazy four months.A really really hectic one, been sleeping less than 5 hours daily. Most people are planning to switch courses or just drop out and take a half a year break.Tortorous, thats how HSFY earns its infamous reputation. If you are a freshie in this course, and have been asked what course you've enrolled in the beginning of the year by the seniors, they will reply you with a cynical evil grin.It tolls up to 13 attempts for this sem, this year, people getting hospitalised for undisclosed reasons of hurting themselves.Obviously you know what attempt is it...
Anyway, i had my first experience of snowing last tuesday or wednesday...? Cant really recall,i just remember that i have chemistry paper the next morning.Let the pictures do all the talkin awrite? XD

Sheer Bad Luck

We're currently undergoing through one of those plain-bad-luck phase in our lives right now.
Not just me, but my whole family.

Dun tell me its superstitious. 'Cause things like this don't happen consecutively because of coincidence.

First, the refrigerator broke down. It has been on-and-off malfunctioning for like the entire month. It was sent for repair, and came home functioning perfectly. But only for two days. Then it broke down again. The refrigerator man came for a come-back job, then he certified its end of usage life.

And for those people living in Ampang area (didn't really notice other areas), remember the rubbish bin outside the house? The ones made in cement, looking all tough and endurable to all sorts of weather. Well, ours, the base part of it came tumbling down one fine morning. Cement u know...

Then my dad crashed into a motorcyclist, sending him a few metres away lying on the floor. Luckily no serious injury caused. But hey, *kaching*. RM1000 gone including repair of both vehicles and medical compensation.

Finally, it infected me. I think it all sorta climaxed today, my bad luck I mean. I certainly hope that there isn't gonna be a day worse than this.

I woke up this morning and the electricity was cut off 5 minutes later. Been having menstrual pain whole morning. So went back to snuggling under my blanket, feeling cold even without my fan or aircond. In the end I didn't eat anything except an apple before going to college. Upon reaching college, I heard that the list of students accepted into the Advance Diploma in Commerce (Financial Accounting), in short AFA course, is out. My friends said that the names on the list are ranked according to their CGPAs, so I secretly wondered whether I would see my name among the top twenty-or-so. Haha..after all I did quite well throughout these two years.

People were crowding around the list on the bulletin board, so I decided to check it out later since it's freaking hot and I was practically sweating like hell. Did I mention I developed an headache at that moment of day also? So by the time I did get back to the bulletin board, my name was nowhere to be found. Not at the top, not at the bottom. In fact, not even included in that list. Quite shocked. It never once entered my mind that I will not be accepted, you see. And my friends are all inside it, my fellow distinction mates and those who graduated with merit. Except me. @.@

Unbelievable. So I came back again later with Lei Yee, who double-checked for me. Still negative. ?!!

Went straight to Ms Geh's office, accompanied by Mr Soo.

"Is it possible that my name got left out? 'Cause I got distinction and AFA's my first choice."
"It's unlikely. Maybe you should check whether you got your second choice instead."
"So graduating with distinction doesn't guarantee us a place in the course under our first choice?"
"Not necessarily. There are other criterias involved too."

=.= Excuse me, even if there are "other criterias" involved, I believe I'm also not worse than those who got into the list lah. Else what are my two years worth of exhaustion participating in societies for?

Frustration cuz of thAt, plus coming to a still out-of-electricity home, plus majOr headache, plus I didn't get to eat my porridge, all sums up to a really bad day.

Hopefully things will turn out to be better tomorrow.

Poor Dobby~

Tomorrow, my Adv Dip course begins.
*my holidAy~~~~~~~* (hand reaching in the air for something gone beyond reach)

Must be optimistic. We must always start off something with a positive attitude and mind. (regardless what comes later)
Yes!

Things to do by today:
1) clean room (never got rid of a single speck of dust since hols started)
2) arrange schedule
3) pack my bag (sound like a primary school kid)

and last but not at all the least,

4) finish my Harry Potter. =D

And you will realize my title is absolutely irrelevant to my post.

Satisfaction~

In less than a month since my last trip to Genting, I was up there again on Monday. This time, with my parents. Since I've played whatever I could possibly play last time, I just had a relaxing time shopping around at noon, watching performances at night, (saw tigers and lions for the first time in real life) and then getting cozy under the warm duvet. When we're on a trip with friends, everything is about budgeting. Not that case with parents. Wakaka. Less thrill yes, but better hotel, better food. =D

Nice window view in the refreshing morning breeze.

I was reluctant to part myself from the comfy duvet, though I never sleep well in a hotel.

Lalala... holidays are coming to an end soon. In a week's time. We're still waiting for the results to be out. If you're wondering why I'm so relaxed during this whole month and neither showing the slightest intention to broaden my knowledge on anything studies related nor any guilt for not doing so, that's because I know that how it's gonna be when our schedules fall back into those exhausting semesters kind. Don't even wanna think bout it.

Btw, today 4 of us (Carmen ky ly n me) went to a book sale somewhere in the middle of PJ. Never went there before but I'm not worried since there's Lynyen and Carmen. Lynyen for sense of direction and Carmen for her bold presence. =D It was an... eventful day for ly. Rememba to buy toto ar, you have one near your house. Haha... she kena tahik burung gagak, hot and fresh, eventhough she was sharing an umbrella with ky. Hahaha, I was laughing like hell with Carmen all the way down the road...
At the end of the day, we came home with bags of books. 5 books in one day is considered many for me la. But you should've seen Carmen's. Walau eh... macam pindah rumah, carrying her box of books around the place. Luckily i threw some out of the box, else the bill would be up to RM200. So you can imagine how many books are there, considering they are all less than RM15 each.

Mine. =D Been eyeing the last book of HP since the day it was published, been waiting for the price to come down. Yet, this is the lowest price I could find, RM35. Not my preferred adult version summor. ><

Aih, I've spent so much this week. Gonna spend more tomorrow. Going bankrupt soon.

unhealthy habits

I have never genuinely experience a hostel <---> student sorta life before. But nw i do! Its all about studying, late night snacks, unhealthy instant noodle for supper, irregular meals and become fanatic to a particular music band tht u might not understand their language.Likewise,im studying human brains, eyes, etc etc while binging myself with...junk food.

And im so crazy abt big bang now. Thanks Kyung Su for the CD.

But its not neccessarily tht bad.I do take some time to go to the gym like just now,or take a walk randomly in town n bumped into random places with my friends =)

i love big bang but not you guys.so go cry yourself to sleep now.tata
