5th April

Morning guys. One thing I realized lately is that the sun is rising earlier and earlier bit by bit everyday. So by 7:20 the sun has already shone in through the windows. One thing good bout that is sleepyheads like me are more awake than usual. Lol.

So, today is Ching Ming, the day on which Chinese (are supposedly to) visit their deceased family members’ graves. But no public holidays in Malaysia for this, thus Malaysian Chinese usually do that during the weekends before and those after the actual day of Ching Ming.

However, that’s not the point of me mentioning this.

It’s just that this morning as I went to the washroom as usual to tidy up my appearance (I sleep in the car on the way to work), I just couldn’t help but noticing that the tap in the executive washroom (next to the ladies’ washroom) kept going on and off. The taps in our office tower are those sensor types. But it’s hard to believe that there is someone who kept using the tap for so long ‘cause

1) it’s a one-person-at-a-time executive washroom where only executives have access to;
2) executives don’t usually come that early;
3) nobody can wash their hands as long as the time I took in the washroom (haha)

So finding that quite unusual, I shared that with a friend as I got back into the office.
And very helpfully, she reminded me of the date today. =.=

ME IS LAZY

Like seriously, Im slacking...
Weekly tests sprout like an action potential propagating away from accumulating influx of sodium ions from one node to another node of ranvier...
Hehe...Im still in a holiday mood, and Easter break is starting this Friday ... how time flies. And then it's the start of another endless chain of assesments and tests.
Oh, by the way, Im taking a subject which is kinda interesting (more like a bittersweet relationship) called PHCY 263, its like a whole mixed of different things to learn, more to hands-on experience. The upcoming one requires us to converse with a hired actor in a model setting of clinical pharmacy. To add to the oddity, we will be filmed, and then the lecturer will replay it in one of our workshops with five other classmates to pinpoint your flaws... XD Not looking forward,as its a well known fact that people dislike how they act differently and sound unpleasantly weird with what they are used to or accustomed to .Auditory and visual receptors just do not come in terms with techie gadgets, especially when accomodation are revisited.

My Back Aches..

now. Haha… One thing I realize the moment I stepped into this tax department is that, the number of files is astounding!!! It’s everywhere. In the cabinets, on the cabinets, on the tables, under the desks, next to the photostat machine, behind your chair, next to the dustbin which is next to your feet, and practically everywhere surrounding you in your cubicle… you get my drift.

So, what does that mean, besides less moving space? That leads to backache.
In case you are still wondering why, the files exist to be searched through, updated regularly with files and paperwork, and all that lah.

In here, every tax consultant (which is our senior) is in charge of approximately 150 clients in average. So everytime a client submit some info (usually incomplete and thus, they keep coming one by one), we need to print it out, dig out his/her respective files amidst mountains of files everywhere and file it in. You may think its quite time consuming to locate one, and it is. But you’ll get used to it as time goes by, and you’ll probably know “agak-agak” which particular stack to korek. And mind you, they’re not light and thin.

So this process, leads to backache.
Haha… such long-winded story to explain my backache.

Anyway, that’s not all I do. Just the tiring physical labour part of my job scope.

My senior has started to request me to stay back and work OT and work Saturdays (I know, no life =< ). So far I’ve only stayed till 8:30pm like that, which is also quite exhausting. By the time after dinner reaching home and a hot shower, it’ll be like 11+pm. So tired I can barely do anything anymore before I fell asleep like a dead log on the bed. So much for the Harry Potter reading. =.= But no energy to feel dissatisfied. Lol.

And to know that it’ll get much worse in April?! (that’s our tax submission deadline to the government) ARGH~

Still, it’s better than studying at this time. ‘cause that would mean I’m resitting.
Thus, be grateful Yuen Pui Yee.
Hey I am! Just describing my current work situation. No complaints. =D

By the way, I’m usually VERY busy from morning till evening. The only reason I’m blogging now is cause, I’ve got a super rare time of having nothing to do, hehehe. Probably just gonna last less than half an hour, but still... Yea. =D

Btw I planned to catch a movie this Saturday~
Let’s hope I don’t havta work this Saturday yet…

my day here so far

I felt a sudden gush of blogging. So what do i do? Blog then. of course.
But then I totally forgot about how crappy the internet connection is in Willowbank. Thanks for dampening my spirit! Woohoo.
Instead of studying physiology and bioc, well me and my friends were planning to play CS and then have some drinkin session and then head to the monkey, ten , god knows maybe liberty lounge for clubbing.
How disappointing it is when one of our friends successfully convinced the other mates nt to have it today...since they're all feeling pretty 'not well'. Whatever it is, I dont really mind, cause, you see, things come in a package, in two very equal but opposite ways. You'll have a great night, drinking all the way till dawn, dance your way to your bed and meeting new people...but hey theres a catch, you will get a really bad hang over the next day. Judging from that, I am kinda glad it got cancelled b'cause P2 students have a pharmaceutical calculation paper to take on Monday. So yup, God Bless.

As for my flatmate/friend, she has been sulking whole day long, pretty disappointed by the cancellation. So me, her and the other flatmate decided just to cook a nice dinner and watch movie in our comfy couch. We were all geared up for this movie session ( Deep blue sea), lugging our pillows, wrapping ourselves with MY huge comforter...enjoying the rather tacky unrealistic movie with fake plastic sharks swimming around until...i realised the girls get a lil too comfy ...One stucked her feet under my butt and start wiggling to keep her toes warm ( Yea, I know Dnd is getting cold , but Hey!) and the other placed her both legs on my thighs....
I just politely faked that I've got a phone call and left that room. That situation was pretty awkward for me but definitely not to them. And no, they are not those kinda girls...== They just didnt realise that Im not comfortable being sandwiched in a couch, esp when Im the only guy.

I should be studying, like seriously...but I cant be bothered much.Masses of P2 students are seen walking from one venue to another for lectures every single day, crossing the roads, passing by shops, walking pass the restaurants, navigating our way to the Dunedin hospital. Like come on, who would in the right mind to make students to walk between lectures from Teacher's Coll Audi all the way to the town's hospital for lectures...== bravo.
Ps: if u think the walking distance between Klcc and Pavilion is far...our lecture halls are spread out three times that distance. And averagely, you will be given ten minutes to settle down.Beat that!

Btw , I met a primary school friend of mine here today in BBQ event organised by Otago Malaysian Students Assoc today. Pleasant surprise =) Talking of which, when they termed it as BBQ, expect nothing much, I plead you. They just serve plain white breads with their " barbecued sausages and onions ". Thats the only thing that they have 'barbecued'.Or so as to speak, burn. Lol, the membership fee is just 2 dollars, what can i Expect? Reallll barbecue >,<

=)

...i wanna...
blog abt heaps...
but...im too lazy...=))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
lol at tht... im going out drinking again tonite~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~wooooo

Love Fridays =D

It is now 8:05am at office, the time that I’m usually ready at my desk every morning, preparing myself for a long day ahead. =)

So, yesterday was the day that results were out. I am grateful that the worst case scenario that I imagined did not come true. Haha….or else I would have to start drafting my resignation letter and think of an appropriate excuse to terminate my internship earlier than agreed in contract. Not to mention I would also need to study really hard and prepare for the resit of papers. Ugh, I shudder just at the thought of it. It would really be a blow to my already-going-feeble-confidence.

Anyway, since that did not occur, I can now sigh in relief! =D I’d rather spend my next two months working for an exhausting internship rather than studying for failed subject, thankyouverymuch.

On a side note, I don’t know how if the rest of you feel the same way, but I find it kinda dissatisfying to go to bed early after a long day’s work (or studying), no matter how tired I am. Not that I enjoy feeling more fatigued the next day, but I need some time allocated for myself for some sort of entertainment. Else it’ll just feel as if my life would be the monotonous old routine of wake up – eat – work – eat – work – eat – sleep.
Even typing that bores me.

Thus, at this point I would like to introduce to you the best fiction I’ve ever come across……

Harry Potter series!!

Haha…I never get bored of reading it again and again, seriously. Of course, let some time pass before picking it up again. Because of all those details described so well by J.K.Rowling, you’ll feel yourself slipping into their world for 2 hours before going to bed, satisfied.

And 2 hours out of the Muggle world is adventurous enough for a weeknight. =D
